Salang Pass Steel Bridges

Fabrication and installation of seven high-strength steel bridges along the Salang Pass, a critical route for industrial and commercial transport. The project required designing durable steel structures capable of withstanding the rugged, mountainous terrain and severe weather conditions such as snow, rain, and ice. The design also incorporated load-bearing capacity for heavy industrial vehicles, ensuring the safe and smooth passage of goods through one of the most challenging logistical routes in the region.

The bridges were completed on time, despite the difficult terrain and environmental challenges. The project demonstrated Bargi Sabz’s ability to provide steel solutions for highly demanding environments and their engineering excellence in addressing complex infrastructure needs. These bridges have since played a critical role in facilitating industrial transport and improving regional connectivity.
